    Default no restrictions .. please help
    hello there i just bought used iphone 4 (4.0)
    im trying to find restriction to enter a pass code but i cant .. am i going crazy or what ?? when i go to general i cant find any tab for restriction .. i tried general= auto lock and there is nothing except the minutes :S
    please help

    Right under auto lock there should be a place for restrictions.

    exactly .. thats the problem i cant find it :S could there be any app that was installed through cydia that is preventing the restriction to appear ?

    i have so may packages .. u might identify any of the following apps that r installed and could have caused this issue

    APT 07 (apt- key )
    repository encryption key management tool

    bource-again shell
    the best shell ever

    darwin tool
    startupfile tool

    diskdec-cmds
    mount, quota, feck, fstyp, fdisk, tunefs

    gnu privacy guard
    older encryption compatible with openpgp

    ********* security
    protects you and your device against attackers

    pam (apple)
    pluggable (comples) authentication module

    pam module
    standard apple authentication module

    profile directory
    makes packaging for /etc/profile reasonable

    shell-cmds
    killall, mktemp, renice, time which

    system-cmds
    iostat, login, passwd, sunc, sysctl

    You may have purchased a clone in a refurbished case it's been a bit of a scam since it's Christmas time and people want more bang for there buck

    i dont think it's a clone one .. unlesss it's 10000% cloned ... i mean the firmware, the resolution and the touch feels exactly the same as the original .. i compared them together :S
