Completely disable Mail from running, ever from your iPhone

I never use Mail on my iPhone, it really irritates me that it always appears as a running app DESPITE setting it to push manually etc.

I also didn't want an additional RAM using app to cancel it from running so..

I found this tip from 'pablogiorgini' which I tried and it works;

just rename mail from applications like mobilemailx and on the Info.plist rename the key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>
<string>com.apple.mobilemailx</string>

reboot your phone after

will the app still work? i found a way also that is in the settings..... just turn off push, put the check every to manual, and then go into the mailboxs push and select manual.. the mailbox maybe is in the back 1 time a month?

That sounds fairly risky...maybe you're better off editing the launchdaemon that runs mail?
