I cannot get any of the winterboard iPhone 4 music player skins to work??!! Please help? :-(

Try adding the images to com.apple.mobileipod under bundles

You have to ssh into your phone and mod the file yourself

I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. I haven't gone as far as 'ssh' and playing with files how difficult is it to do that sort of thing and where can i get some sort of instructions ?

got ssh set up now what do i do?

Var>stash>themes> place the file here reboot your phone then open winterboard select it and it should work.

I think your best bet is to go to You Tube, and search "SSH themes iPhone" and I'll bet a 100 come up. I may be easier that way for you, you can see it being done.
