Voice Control Mod

Hey guys(and gals),
I was wonderring if there is any way to get the feedback from the voice control (i.e. song names, etc) without using voice control. I have Activator set up so i can control ipod functions with the volume buttons but i want a way to hear the song info without looking at my iphone.

You may want to check into VoiceOver..its what you use on the iPod shuffle and nano for the same purpose.. i'd assume similar functionality is available on iPhone.

Thats exactly what I'm looking for but i want a way to do it with a hardware button.
I was digging aroung in iFile today and found a folder that seems like it would help if i knew how to program Cydia apps/tweaks. the directory is:
/System/Library/VoiceServices/Plugins/iPod.vsplugin

any ideas?

I've never heard of being able to do that, but it'd be a cool tweak. Probably too cool, expect to see it in the Cydia store by midnight for $2.99 >.<

Haha, too late probably. I imagine someone's already got a .deb ready to go and is beta-testing and about to upload it to the MMI repo with absolutely no credit towards you. Gotta love capitalism.
