i have successfully(?) changed the emoji icons on the iphone. in /system/library/privateframeworks/webcore.framework are all the emoji's, if you change the icon and have the emoji keyboard on it will change it there. but as you see in my pic i have attached the icon on the keyboard does not change, just the icon when you push it, can someone help find those files to fully mod the file?
P.S. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY WORK AND SHOW ON ANOTHER SITE! thank you

No one else will get your icons, because they are only on your phone. The iPhone will send it as plain text when it gets sent, and then the other iPhone will display the appropriate Emoji when it arrives.
As for the modified symbols not changing on the actual keyboard, I believe that is due to the fact that you are only editing the images displayed by iOS, and not the actual keyboard file. Even if you replace the icon that displays when you type the character, you would still have to edit the icon on the keyboard.
Don't think that keyboard editing is possible right now, it's packed up in an .artwork file somewhere on the phone, and I don't think anyone has come up with a decompiler/compiler for it yet (don't hold me to that though, I'm not sure on that one).
