removing lockscreen clock

does anybody know how to remove the lockscreen clock without using lockinfo? for some reason, when i use lockinfo, it creates a big black section on my lockscreen where i'm guessing it thinks information should be, but i turned off all of the widgets because i only really care about not having the clock.

any help would be awesome.
