Weather.html question

I did a search and found some results, but no answers.

I'm using a mac, running leopard, and I'm trying to edit a weather.html file. Every time I try to open it in textedit, or word, it gives me this error...

"The document “Weather.html” could not be opened. Text encoding Unicode (UTF-8) is not applicable."

Does anybody know of any software that might be able to override this, or any way around this? I NEED to edit this file.

Wow, I just had this problem last night. Are you trying to change location on the timeless theme?

Anyway the only way I was able to edit that file was to use ifile on the iPhone. It was super simple. .

i'm trying to edit the location for helvecia. i dont really wanna pay 2.99 for something i'm only gonna use once. do you have any idea of any other software that might do it?
