I think a trick to this is type the word you want into safari, and it will add it. Not 100% but read that a long time ago.

Maybe instead the crass comments you could simply say "no one has found a way" to begin with? I DID search and found, as you say, countless threads, with countless tips, but none definitively stating that it isn't possible. Perhaps sone 10 yo kid has found the answer but just not posted it yet?
It is not necessary to respond in a crass & sarcastic manner from behind your web anonymity simply because you may feel yourself to be THE authoritative opinion on a subject. (You don't code for Apple, do you?) If you don't have a helpful answer to the question, just move on to the next thread.

You were being crass. Why didn't you just say "no" instead of sending them on a wild goose chase?!

Wild goose chase? All they had to do was look at one of the other threads on the topic and wouldve seen that no one has found a fix. No wild goose chase, no crass comments. Idk what your problem is, but I wasn't being crass or sarcy stfu
