remove "slide to unlock" iOS4.1 iPhone4
I'm unable to remove the "slide to unlock" text on my iPhone4, iOS4.1, JB with Greenpoison (new install, no restore from iTunes backup)
I have a theme "Crystal unlock slider" (can't find it in Cydia though, don't know the repository), but that doesn't work on iOS4.1, the "slide to unlock" text is still displayed.
Does iOS4.1 use something else beside "SpringBoard.strings"?

No that's one of the things that stayed the same, you can change it manually in springboard.app in your appropriate language proj folder

iPhone4 16gb black - 4.1 Limera1ned
iPhone 3G 16gb white - 3.1.2 jailbroken Blackra1ned

I already placed the modified SpringBoard.strings file in "en-lproj", "en-gb.lproy" and "English.lproj" directory, still no luck

I think you will like to "iStrings", this will help you with most of your personalizing ideas, this you will finds in Cydia....

I have an iPhone 4 with un-unlockable and it's the ONLY mod I really care about but it doesn't work for me. I have it selected in my winterboard and it's at the top idk why it won't work even if I turn off all my other themes n all that stuff. Can anybody help me??? I've been looking for an answer for a while now

Look inside it and see if the images are @2x

I checked the images in iFunbox, and they are not named @2x, but still it's working for me, wierd

Well, the only tip I have is to add "@2x~iphone" to all the images filenames.
Example: rename the image called bottombarbkgndlock.png to bottombarbkgndlock@2x~iphone.png
If that doesn't work, I don't know what will.
