Is it still not possible to send video MMS natively on a 3G? I do not want to use the number @xxxx email trick either, just want to use MMS. Any Cydia tweaks or plist edits? I still can't believe it.
Hopefully someone can answer this quickly, need to send something out asap
back when i had my 3g (before buying my 3gs this summer) i could send video messages, but i had a mod that i can't quite remember the name of off the top of my head right now. i'll keep thinking about it and post if i do
Hmmm. This sounds promising then. I've searched around and haven't found anything. I believe I did find an old package that is no longer on cydia, but every single person said it bricked their phone.
Lol..nvm..i just decided to to decrypt the 4.1 3G fw and check out the files..sadly..video mms is already enabled in plists such as the carrier plist..avremakerpreset.plist....so it seems we just need to enable one more plist or edit a file which is responcible..ill let u kno wut i find...tho it will be hard 4 me cuz none of us have any 3Gs anymore [i4's!]..so ill need to find someone [scapegoat] where i can constantly update files with when i have time and who also doesn't mind the wait & has the patience...
So here are some imp files i found:
System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/CommCenter
System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ChatKit.framework...
If some1 can upload these files as is frm an actual iphone 3g (not decrypted) it would be gr8
