I don't know if it's just me but SBSettings, 5 IconDock, Winterboard, Infinifolders, Lockdown Pro and Activator works like a charm in my 3GS OS 4.1.

No problems so far with those you have listed.

Maybe you need to restore from a fresh firmware, without using a backup when you restore. Is just an opinion, I don't know if that will work or not, but I did that and work fine.

fixed it !! i just re-jailbroke it the the NEW updaye of greenpois0n.... rc3
they changed it to the SHATTer one now

Nice, I just have one question, the folder/multitasking background image doesn't change in OS 4.1, do yours change?

Same here, iFile, lockinfo, My3G, ActionMenu, SDM, MobileTerminal all OK. RemoveBG crashes in to SafeMode , OpenSSH messing with WiFi , blocks certain routers

normally it wont work with 4.1 but i was able to do little modification so it will work...heres the trick


CHANGE image FolderSwitcherBG.png inside system/library/coreservices/springboard.app into your own png file

DELETE /private/var/mobile/Libary/Caches/com.apple
.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen

respring.

Those all work just fine on my iPhone 4 running 4.1

I'm running all of those except auto close folders.

For some reason, even though I've changed that file to folderswitcherbg without the @2x iFile won't let me delete the cache file. It always says can't be deleted. Anybody have a fix?

Can someone help me fix what I've done wrong? The folder background worked but when checking the multitasking background it shows up like this now.



I think I copied both FolderSwitcherBG.png and [email protected] as the exact same file. That may be the problem.. Anyone have those 2 files that worked for ya'll that you can send my way?

@Cman7482 is the image the right size? 640x720 it needs to be not 640x960

Hmmm have you tried using the iwipecache fix? It does the same thing but it might work..
Search "4.1 help!" here on mmi, then scroll down till you see a comment with some instructions (3rd or 4th comment) then scroll down to my comments and use my instructions aswell, if that doesn't work I have no further suggestions sorry

This is what I did to get it back to where I could see all my multitasking apps.

Got it back to where I can see all my multitasking apps but the folder/multitasking backgrounds are back to the OE grey. Which is fine for now... I'll try and get it back to the transparent look after while... I deleted the FolderSwitcherBG@2x > deleted the folder cache > then respring, to get it back to that.



I'm just going for the slick transparent look for folder/multitasking background. Any tips are welcomed. LOL

Did you try what I suggested? Modding the iwipecache payload has worked for several people so far.. Search "4.1 help!" and there's instructions on like the third comment, then look at my comments if your on an iphone4

Nope I haven't tried that yet. What is iwipecache? Not real familiar with that. Also I need to find an image to use as the background. I don't think the one I have is gonna work. Was hoping someone would link me to one they use for that transparent look.
