SMS bubble color on version 4.1

whenever i download an SMS theme to change the bubble colors on my 3G, it never changes it. is there a different name for the Ballon_1.png, etc. thing?

they are located in the chatkit framework folder. just change them manually.

its on System\Library\PrivateFrameworks\ChatKit.framework
as of the name i forgot cuz i just downgrade to 3.1.3.. so i kinda forgot the file name.. but its obvious from the image.. have a look..

I really need help creating some nice colour bubbles, sometimes the premade ones wont work. And so many on cydia look like they were designed by 12 year old chavs.
Can anyone help?
Are there alternatives to cydia?

Add "~ iphone" at the end of each image, eg

@ ~ 2x-Balloon_1 iphone.png

@ ~ 2x-Balloon_2 iphone.png

@ ~ 2x-PhotoButton iphone.png

Has anyone found a way to make the Rainbow SMS bubbles work? I have changed the file names but it still does not work. DO I need to move a folder?

CORRECTION: The file name is just "Balloon_1~iphone.png" -- and you don't need to double the size. Mine are 72 pixels and work great under "Themes>SMS>Folders>ChatKit.framework"
