How to stop sms ring while on the phone?

when im on the phone with someone and a i receive a text meanwhile, its rings in the background (i hear it and the person on the other line heres it)

is there any way through SSH to modify a file so that that tone wont sound during phone calls?

put the silent switch on, your phone will just vibrate while on the phone

yea but you usually dont remeber till you get that text... and with my case its not easy to switch the vibrate button... has to be an app that fixes this... like autoomatically switch phone to vibrate during call, or do not notify during call... and some app that makes it so that you can stop the sms ringing like when the phone rings and you press the mute key it stops why dont it do that for texts?

Have to agree... Who remembers that!?
The iOS should have this built in: if on the phone, then the sms-tone should be silenced!
