iReal has a long trial period. You have plenty of time to compare the two. BiteSMS will still win....unless you want all that talking-back text stuff

I personally prefer BiteSMS 9 out of 10 times over any of the other SMS apps I've seen. First off, you can get all these SMS for free from other repos which makes the price not a factor for me. The Quick Reply feature is very nice and easy to use. It also shows the bubble in the status bar when a message is waiting to be read and all you have to do is tap it once to open it up. Great app and good on memory.

Tlert is buggy on 4.2.1 - 4.3.x. I tried that too but eventually ended up w/ BiteSMS.

My favorite used to be QuickReply for SMS but it started crashing all the time.

Anyone have trouble with trying any of these apps (real, bite, tlert) on 4.3.2 iPhone 4 and your native SMS app quits alerting new txts after uninstalling??

BiteSMS is the ****. I use it all the time, it is actually the sole reason that causes me to jailbreak time and time again. Even the free version is super awesome and dealing with an ad like every two days when I actually open the app is totally worth it.

BiteSMS all day, any day!! I also used iRealSMS at one time but once I discovered biteSMS, there was no turning back!!
