nospot is an app that lets you completely get rid of spotlight!

thats all there is to it, download the app and your sorted

PS i havnt yet tried this, i am currently downloading it

I dno if a toggle is possible as it prob needs respring..

I installed it and it's great but it totally kills spotlight.

I found an option in activator to run spotlight and if you have no spot installed all it does it bring up the keyboard with no search bar and no results.
As I never use spotlight it makes no difference to me but someone else might want to know about this.

yup, its sposed to totally kill it, thats what we want...
the only problem i have is it takes away the scrolling bounce when you try and slide to the left, which is a bit crap, but hopefully itll be in an update

And people like this simply because sometimes they scroll too far, or is it a memory hog? I don't get it.

no, i dont like it because i like having a 1 page theme with infinifolders and 5icondock, being able to scroll left just ruined it
