Finding iPhone's IP address on Wi-Fi WITHOUT using phone
if my laptop and my iphone are connected to the same wifi network, is there a way i can find out my iphone's ip address through my computer? i know i can swipe sbsettings or go to network settings in the iphone and it will tell me, but i want to know if there's a way i can do this WITHOUT using the phone.
i had a situation last week where my phone was stuck in a respring loop and i would have liked to ssh into the phone and fix the problem, but since i couldn't access settings or sbsettings i had no way of knowing the ip address. i ended up having to install ifunbox and use that to fix the problem. if such a situation happens in the future i'd like to be able to ssh rather than using an app like ifunbox (which requires me to install apple's mobile device driver).
Yes if you know how to go into your router settings. Type in the routers ip in ur browser and it should show you everything that is connected to it (MAC address and IP)
