Auto lock timing?

I was actually interested In lowering the auto lock feature. I plan on researching this in the next couple days and was going to post my progress here but I'd love to save sometime and ask has anyone been able to accomplish this?

My guess is it's in a plist perhaps and just a value and edit the string to match in preferences. Any ideas?

Im not sure i understand... You want it to autolock within less than 1 minute?

In iFile or SSH, from root follow this path:

Applications>preferences.app>general.plist

Halfway down you'll see this:

<string>3_MINUTES</string>

<integer>180</integer>
<integer>240</integer>
<integer>300</integer>
<integer>-1</integer>
</array>

Youll have to adjust these settings. This is as far as I take you. I dont really wanna touch my plists lol so the rest is up to you.

Nvm I figured it out haha. Add string for (for example) 30 seconds, add an integer in the order you added the string above for 30 as well. If for example it is 10 minutes, add string for that and integer of 600.

Awesome! Thanks for your help. I'll try it a soon as I get home. I figure it had to be in a plist. Plus I drain my battery a lot so I'm hoping this will help somewhat more.

Well. I spoke too soon. It seems to be the place and I added the lines...

<string>30_SECONDS</string>
<integer>30</integer>

To each spot above the minute mark and respringed. However the settings displays 0_MINUTE

And the auto lock takes one minute. Any idea?
