hiding lockscreen clock

i know i can use lockinfo to do this, but i don't really want notifications about anything, and i dont really want to pay 7 or 8 dollars just to hide the clock.

is there any other way? i've looked into a few apps that are suppose to do it but they don't work with the iphone 4, apparently.

Can't you use Lockscreen Clock Hide without using Lockinfo?

I would think so, I downloaded that and it didn't do anything. I don't think it's compatible with ios4 at this point.
