Help with Icon issue

I'm having an issue with changing my icons. I upgraded to 4.0.1 and used jailbreakme this weekend on a 3gs. Prior to that, I was using a Spirit JB, flashed my system and installed a custom ipsw for 4.0 with sn0wbreeze which started giving me issues so I figure I go this route. Anyway I have modded my phone back to how I like it EXCEPT for whatever reason I cant change my icons!!

Its driving me crazy, I'm rewriting the icon png file in the apps that I want the icon change and nothing is working!!

Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated not sure why its not working?!?!? Its a pretty simple process and its baffling to me that its not working. Is it an issue with 4.0.1? Is it an issue with jailbreakme? I am also having some Cydia load issue that I keep correcting. HELP PLEASE
