Winscp - can't get it to log in

I installed winscp on my pc and openssh on my phone, but when I try to connect using host and alpine or dottie as the password, it says access denied, or more commonly times out so I did some more digging and I keep seeing that I need to instal installer and DSB Subsystem, I understand that Cydia replaced intaller but I can't find DSB subsystem anywhere, has that been replaced. Please help clever people, oh I also turned off my firewall and made sure my phone wasn't locked, but still no joy

Do you have your iDivece connected to a wifi connectiong right ?

Yep, connected to my wireless router

keep your iphone from locking itself, when i did that it started to work

Yeah I did that to, turned the lock off...
