liveclock is DEAD. it won't be resurrected by the dev. he said so on his twitter.

it is open source so someone can pick it up at any time.

hi i got live clock working in my iphone 4 ios 4.0.1

    first download this file :
    LiveClock 0.3.zip

unzip the file and follow these steps (also located in the Instructions.txt)

    1) SSH into your iPhone/iPod Touch

    2) go to /Library/Themes
    place these:
    LiveClock.theme
    LiveClock Dark No Seconds.theme
    LiveClock Dark.theme
    LiveClock Disabled.theme
    LiveClock No Seconds.theme

    3) go to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries
    place these:
    LiveClock.dylib
    LiveClock.plist

    4) go to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app
    place these:
    LiveClock.plist
    LiveClock.png

just follow the folders in the zip files.

    5. then on your winterboard theme just choose which one do you want
    ex. liveclock theme

    Enjoy!

Can anyeone confirm that?! I doubt it would be that easy if the dev isn't willing to work on it?? I can't test this right now but I looked at the files. Anyway to make this compatible with retina images?

Man that sucks, this is just like a widget and not the actual clock app. You have to search the clock app in spotlight to open it. There's no point if you can't just tap on the icon to open the app. I hope other coders look at this and find a way.

M4tt Dam0n is right, you can't open the app when you use this, also the clock is running but showing the incorrect time on mine. Tom

and I just rechecked actually the minute and hour hand are the standard 10:15 just the seconds hand moves, unless i did something wrong
