Saving/downloading files to iPhone on iOS4
Hey,
I'm wondering if there's any jailbreak apps that'll allow me to download files, either from mail or from web pages while on iOS4.
I'm currently on 3.1.2 and have both Safari Download Manager and Attachment Saver installed, but according to http://spreadsheets.google.com/lv?ke...any=true#gid=1 neither of those work on iOS4.
So, how do you download files to your iPhone on iOS4?We're all just toymakers in the game of life.

Going to bump this just once.
Even if anyone can just confirm that it's not possible would be nice. We're all just toymakers in the game of life.

I too have been looking for this as Attachment Saver no longer works on IOS 4.0 with Ifile. Just discovered a really neat solution though. Download Ibooks app from appstore. When email has pdf attachment just press and hold on the attachment and it will give the option to open in ibooks which then stores it in its library. Actually much nicer than iFile.

I'm using Files from the app store. It let's you download links off a web site. Then I use iFile from Cydia to manage it.

I have both idownload and downloads from the app store. I like downloads better, the AppStore does have a lite version of the app also.
Works great and works with ifile

Still encounter file saving issue with attachmentsaver on IOS 4.0.1. File doesn't appear in folder after saving via application.

I was sure though, that apps like this weren't allowed by Apple so I hadn't thought to search the App Store at all. Anywho, thanks a lot.
