    Default Creating HD icons

Im attempting to create HD icons for my Iphone4.

Not from scratch but more by getting super high res icons then resizing them to 60x60pixels.

but my problem is that when they are resized they dont look as good as the apple icons that came on the phone.

    why?

Here is what it looks like. 60x60, 114x114 as mentioned below and the original icon PNG

its not 114x114 as you can see.

i thought it would be easier to see the difference between the apple HD icons and the one i added but its hard. still gives you an idea.

Winterboard does not work with the high res icons. Had the sane problem when applying them from icons folder. It may be a winterboard update that needs to be done.

    Anyone else have this problem?

When I manually overwrite the [email protected] it comes out right and looks so sick on the retina

With ios4 I'm assuming what they did is duplicate file names and add @2x to the end of the name for the iPhone 4. So if you look in the program folder you'll notice that there is an icon.png and an [email protected] the icon.png is at standard deffinition and the [email protected] would be for the retina display.

I see most ui and images have both a .png and a @2x.png. This way devs can make one program work for retina and non retina displays rather than having to make two diff apps

Can you direct me to the application folder locations?

I found others at private/var/mobile/applications but only the aftermarket apps.

Where can i find the apple apps?

Also... I changed my iLoader app icon and same thing. Are you resizing your icons somehow? or are you finding them already sized up and nice?

Please Help look how awsome some of these are.... im doing something wrong.... I WANT THESE!!!
