I think I'm doing everything right but Perfect Browser keeps closing and when I restart it I see the message "get netflix for iPad."
The only find I can possibly see that I'm doing wrong is the the permission folder is 0755 instead of 755. Would that make a difference? I'm using Winscp on pc to change the permissions.
I got it changed to 755 and it works great now, thanks!

cool, but can you get a free trial without entering credit card info?
or do they plan to automatically bill you when your trial is up, rather than just ending your trial? No signature links.... only warning

Works great BTW, there is a new UA faker in cydia that works with iOS4 and safari... the sbsettings one doesn't work, but this one lets you set the UA string in the settings app!An apple a day...

1. Copy Netflix.app for iPad into /Applications
2. chmod -R 755 /Applications/Netflix.app
3. Install User Agent Faker (not the SBSettings one, the new one)
4. Set user agent to:
Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; U; CPU OS 3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Mobile/7B334b Safari/531.21.10
6. Go to Netflix.com and play movies instantly on your iPhone.

When I sync to iTunes, will it delete the Netflix app from my iPhone since it is an iPad app? Or will it be tricked into thinking it is an iPhone app?

It's an option in SBSettings.
Also, I got this worked out nicely with a webclip pointing to Netflix Stream page and I put a Netflix icon for it and hid the real Netflix app (the one that doesn't work), when i find a flick I want to watch, it still switches from Safari to Netflix app perfectly fine and plays beautifully. Good workaround. (BTW, using the User Agent Faker)
So thanks to everyone here!
Next question being: Anyone had success with the ABC app?

1. When unzipping the Netflix.app it has 2 CodeResources files? I saved the second as CodeResources(2).
2. My directory isn't just "Applications" it is "Applications.Nyh923"
3. I click a movie in Perfect Browser and it goes to Netflix, but is 'Preparing" with the little swirling thing for last 10 minutes.

It is working great, with one issue. Using perfect browser, if I stop the movie by hitting the "Done" button in the top left it closes just fine and then opens safari and goes to the Netflix login screen. Any thoughts on how to fix it would be great

My Netflix app crashes instantly whenever the browser redirects to it to play a movie.

Same here, I'm stumped and give up.

ya it's no biggie. Will just wait for the official app. Not like I'm short for things to do with a Jailbroken iP4....

I did the following when setting permissions via WinSCP (see screenshot).
Check off "Set group, owner and permissions recursively."
After I did that all was good and gravy.

Couldn't get it to work till I set every file in the Netflix app to 755, and it worked perfectly on a 3G. Thanks everybody!
