Terminal on 4.0?

Is there any other way to change the SSH password or is the Terminal the only way?

I cant seem to get terminal to work on my 3g on iop 4.0.1

Just log in to your phone from your computer via SSH using PuTTY or whatever to connect to your phone's WiFi IP address, and use the "passwd" command.

Well got all the way up to where I can enter the command "passwd" but keep getting a host communication error?

It says Host not communicating for more than 15 seconds. Still waiting. WARNING! Aborting this operation will close the connection.

you can use terminal but you have to install it via ssh. you have to get it from the website.

I looked at a guide that I found on here and in the comments there were people receiving the same error code when working with WinScp so they suggested Putty and that worked

I still can not get MobileTerminal to work on my iPhone :/
