Theme creation questions

Ok so I had an iPhone 3G for over a year and I used to go in and make themes all the time but I stopped cuz I had no idea how to save the like the themes in cydia. Can anyone point me in the right direction or like a how to thread or something lol. I would like to make some for the iPhone 4 when the jailbreak comes out.

this thread will give you some image names which are new in iOS4.
but the best way is to download a complete theme from cydia, best free one is probably iComplete. then go to var/stash or var/mobile i cant remember which one, and look for the Themes folder, in there will be your downloaded theme, then just have a look through its content and apply it to get an idea of how it all works.
