Where is 800AAAAA?

after upgrading to ios4 i notice that in the DCIM folder of my iPhone all my camera roll pics are stored in a folder called "800AAAAA". a quick google search tells me this is normal. here's my question though -- when i ssh into var\mobile\media where the dcim folder is, i don't see 800AAAAA anywhere. where can i find this folder, and how do i ssh pics into my camera so that i can see them in the photos app?
