lock screen .png

Hi, i want to set this .png as my lock screen.
I copied it to /private/var/stash/Themes
and open it via winterboard, but nothing happens.

Have i put it in the right folder or missing something?

You need to have it in a folder in /themes e.g /themes/lockpic/picture.png

is it possible to modify an existing lockscreen from cydia by replacing the .png file with of your own (thus keeping the slider etc)

I take it your fairly new
Of course you can, you can mix and match themes as much as you want! The best way is to find a complete theme e.g. icomplete and start from there!

hi, yeah pretty new. Just nervous bout knackering my phone.
Its already packed in on me (had to restore, downgrade, re-jailbreak) took bout 3 days of surfing to sort out,,
easy now when you know how.

just tried putting a different .png on
(in a folder, everthing the same) but this one does not work.

um not sure, make sure its named correctly and in the root of that folder also it has to be the size of the screen, i think its 480x320

um you know you could just go to this thread from your iphone. Hold tap the image and then it will prompt you to save image.


just save it and set as wallpaper. lol you can even delete it from your camera roll later and it'll still be there
