Sure, why now, but can you please wait so the copying of the System folder finishes? Or tell me your email
Btw, did you also replace the system folder?
No, I replaced no files. You have a PM in a few seconds...
//Progress
In PreferenceBundles/MobilePhoneSettings.bundle is a phone.plist, it's for settings
And it has the FaceTime settings in it...
But it doesn't show up...
BUT when I delete the selector part (this tells settings app, if FaceTime is capable on this device or not)
The settings show up like this:
SO
a: there are files missing that 1.) tells settings that the device has FaceTime Capabilities and 2.) language files that tell settings VIDEO_CALLS_SETTINGS is 'FaceTime'
ANYWHERE in the files MUST BE the string "showVideoCalls". THIS is what we looking for...
I have an iPhone4, jailbroke. Tell me what files you need and where to send 'em.
I'd love to FT between my i4 and my wife's 3G -- even if only as a receive-only option for her...
Btw, the MobilePhone.app crashes because its written for the iPhone 4.
The iPhone 3G/3GS uses a different ARM CPU, which means it cant find the right lines/strings in the MobilePhone execetuable.
**EDIT**
Can someone reupload the MobilePhone.app and the Preferences.app from the iPhone4.
Links are dead for me.
When you delete some strings in the Phone.plist in /PreferenceBundles/MobilePhoneSettings but then it's not working and not saving the state of the switch.
