I don't know :S I just install it and then mitime shows up as an icon on my springboard. Have you tried installing using ssh (putting the deb in the Cydia autoinstall folder)?
There are guides on how to use the autoinstall folder. Just google it.
Hope that works for you!

This is awesome. Works reasonably well for me - great chatting with family at home when youre out and about.
I had activation issues initially, but these were resolved by resetting to defaults.
One question - is anyone game enough to try this with iOS 4.2? Does it still work? I'd love to upgrade.

I remember there was a solution in the voice control thread. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

i had it working in 4.3.3 edited the version plist file to read 4.2.1 and the proper build(8C148a)then dl-ed the faceit app on cydia installed no prob and actually ran. i was surprised to be honest. went well until i changed the plist file back. didn't like the idea of running around with a mismatched version file and what not... just saying... i'm getting an iphone 4 tuesday but i'd still like to play around with this some more. yeah i don't know a whole lot about this os and whatnot but i like to learn...
incidently i did the mitime thing thinking that would let me run it but apparently i misread something somewhere...Last edited by Ddevil54r; 05-15-2011 at 03:18 PM.

So, there is no way getting Facetime on iPhone 3GS 4.3.3 and iPad 4.X?

not unless you like reinstalling apps over and over... hah, actually if you consdier that i did have it working with a simple edit like that then it has to be possible for someone around here, that i guarantee knows more about this than me, to come up with a solution.
unless it was an amazing fluke but i did run it a couple times against my daughters ipod touch 4 and it worked quite well. just as well as when i was in 4.2.1 and had the original faceit.
