Rescue of ITunes Library
Hello all,
I have a little Problem.
My Wife have a 2G IPhone with OS 2.1 (Still the original jailbreaked and unlocked)
Now here Notebooks HD crashed and she has make no backup.
All music are now only on the IPhone.
I have saved the directory /var/mobile/library/iTunes_Control with WinSCP.
Is there a possible way to import the information into iTunes?
After that I will update to OS 3.1.3
I hope, that somewone can give me a help
Regards

you can copy the files back into iTunes. in finder/windows explorer the folders will look random, as will the file names. but once you drag them back into iTunes, it will read the ID3 tags and your library will look normal. However, the files themselves will retain the iPod/iPhone goofy naming scheme. I've had to do this a few times.
I made it ra1n...again
