Remove excess languages and services on iOS4?
I recall a thread that helped you remove unneded services and language packs, but I am curoius if the same can apply to the new iOS4. I have a 3G and needed to disable multitasking because the phone could simply not keep up. It would be nice to have some extra free space on both memory and storage space.
Thanks!

Yeah it will work if you install mobile terminal and go through the procedure. Providing you follow the process, it will delete all those pesky foreign languages.
The info is:
A Common Hades: Final script for deleting iPhone language packs
There.

Yeah you won't have any problems, as the process involved is not reliant on any pareticular OD per se'. It is simply an automated script that searches for, locates and deletes the language packs one by bone...it is a very well written little script- it will prompt you at each step.
EG:
Do you want to tremove Latvian? Y or N
Do You want to remove Japanese? Y or N etc etc
Takes about 5 mins and lightens up your phone very well.
