    Default Prevent baseband update on os 4.0
    Could any of you guys inform me if this method suggested by Musclenerd could work for firmware 4.0 to prevent the baseband to update? I would like to install firmware 4.0 on my iPhone 3g but I am unable to because I am afraid of messing with my unlock as I have a us carrier locked phone and I live in Greece. Please share your knowledge

    Nope, as far as we know the 3.x.x baseband is NOT compatible with 4.0. Dont update and just wait for the dev team/geohot to release an unlock (if there is an exploit) or buy a rebel sim when a 4.0 compatible one is released.
