Accessibility.?>
I have an iPod touch , and a few weeks ago i restored it to a backup of a 3GS to see what would happen. Nothing.
But i jailbroke my ipod today and i have enabled accessibility but i get an error message.
is this anything new? can we do anything about it?
can it be developed further?
and also i got the voice control and accessibility stuff from [Project] Voice Control for iPhone 2G/3G
and voice control opens and closes very quickly. no sound or anything.
:S

We've never got an error, we had just a blank screen. You should post that in Voice Control or Accessibility Thread

There should be a folder in the 3GS firmware called PreferenceBundles.
Search for Accessibility in there.
Hope it will help you.

I have explored around in my 3GS's OS file-system, and I can't tell you how many accessibility related files I found. Each one was in a different place too. Either way, from what I've heard, the accessibility features simply refuse to run unless you happen to have an ARM6 processor (3rd generation iPhone/iPod Touch).

@Puka1701 But I can get Voice Control to pop up on my iPod touch?
(it opens and then closes quickly), we must be able to get Accessibility to Work? , I've actually changed my Usage Statistics.plist in Preferences.app to the Accessibility.plist and im just writing up the strings at the moment...
@MaxxyBoii2K10 your friend has them features because your friend has a 3GS .
@branco145 I wouldn't want to bump the thread , it pisses people off. :S
@Coentje44 , i tried it , i still get the error.

Lets try and develop accessibility??

So, the error says "...loading the preference bundle...".
The preference bundle is there: /System/Library/PreferenceBundles
And there is a AccessibilitySettings.bundle
We must work there I think.
Can you give us an exact tutorial on how to get this error? ThanksLast edited by branco145; 05-09-2010 at 06:33 AM.

This is something I'm interested in too. I'm getting the same error, what I did was edit the correct .plist for my firmware (in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app) by adding "Accessibility" and setting it to true. I respring, go to Settings, to General then scroll down to Accessibility, second to the bottom.
It gives me the message outlined above.
I'm running OS 4.1 on an iPhone 3G (jailbroken with Redsn0w).
I am interested particularly with the zoom and colour invert. Voice control doesn't interest me too much.
