Simply put..........NOPE! or at least not yet. No one has found the artwork for it yet. I've been waiting for a while also the most u can change is the default.png which it only flashes for a quick second then thats it.

The background also doubles for other blank backgrounds. so teh file is not dependant on the sms app

the artwork file has been found. its just taking it apart and putting it back together that isnt possible yet.

yes you can take apart the other.artwork file just do a little google and all shall come to light heh

yes, the other.artwork file is editable, but which png is it??????? that's what is still the unknown.

im after finding this out too. I have applied a theme in customize 2.0 and dont like the text message background colour. I have restored all files in the artwork section fo customize to default but it is still a horrible dark grey and red colour instead of the nice apple light green and light grey.

found it, i think its called MobileSMS Theme, not suprisingly..

i've found the sms background file in 2.0, there is in other.artwork named Other2.0-291.png file

After extracting the other.artwork file, I found other other-291.png, but doesnt look like the sms background to me.
Are u sure its this 1?
