Permanently delete a file that is installed through Cydia?
First of all, I hope Im posting this in the correct section of the forum(?).
I recently installed 'AndroidLock' through Cydia and really like it. It works well; too well for my current situation. After installing it I made a new lock pattern and all was fine. I used the pattern for a few days and decided I'd change it. No biggie, as I just wanted a new pattern.
Here is where I mucked up. I decided to change the pattern again because I had a few people checking out my phone while I was at a Super Bowl party, and so I showed them the pattern, etc...
I went into the AndroidLock setting and drew the current lock pattern. Went on to draw a new one. This is where I went mentally disabled... While re-drawing the NEW pattern I quickly did it and set my phone down. I honestly wasnt paying attention. What happened, you ask? I locked myself completely out of my damn phone. For HOURS I was unable to get into my phone. Granted, the AndroidLock worked like a charm, but I couldnt use my phone. After searching the net for an answer as to how to get my phone back into working order, I was never able to find a solution that worked for ME.
What I ended up doing was calling my phone from the internet, and while on the phone I was able to go into Cydia and remove AndroidLock. Whew!!!
Now here is where my question comes in (sorry for the long explanation). So, like I said before, I like the AndroidLock and want to use it again, but when I reinstall it through Cydia, it just seems to "remember" that it was previously on the phone and will not allow me to draw a new pattern; it still knows my old one!
So... Is there a way I can completely remove ALL traces of AndroidLock from ever being on my phone, thus allowing me to reinstall AndroidLock as if it were a clean/new install, allowing me to draw a NEW lock pattern?
TIA! ALL help is greatly appreciated. Oh, and BTW, great site!
