Blank icons won't go away and i can't jailbreak

I had 3.1.2 on my ipod touch 3g and did a jailbreak with blackra1n. it worked and was awesome, then my girlfriend went and updated the software to 3.1.3 while i was at work, not good. i can't jailbreak it right now, as far as i know, which sucks, but i'll get over it. but now i've got like 7 pages of blank icons i can't get rid of. i can't use ssh to access the root directory without a jailbreak, which i can't do. does anyone have any ideas for me? i'm stuck

Do a full restore and do not restore from backup. I know it sucks but a 3g iPod touch can't be jailbroken with 3.1.3 firmware. Break up with your girlfriend? Lol

edit: you could, after a restore, restore from a backup of before you were jailbroken.

thanks, that worked, i might keep her, depending on how long it is going to take for 4.0 firmware to come out and have a jailbreak available, it looks like i'm stuck until that happens, does anyone know when 4.0 is supposed to be coming out?

It will probably be released within a few months but will also probably be even harder to jailbreak, especially for the 3gs.

Is anyone going to be coming out with a jailbreak for 3.1.3 on iPod touch 3g? Or am I completely screwed?

I don't know. The previous jailbreak for 3g iPod touch was a tethered jailbreak, so it will probably be either tethered or nothing if one does come out. Check the new section here. It will be posted if anything develops.

My brother got 3G iphone but unfortunately he accidentally upgrade it to 3.1.3. So what if my phone accidentally update to 3.1.3? and my phone is 3Gs do i face much more problem than 3G does?
