Need help! Backup Problems!
Ok... I need urgent help...

It all started with the "Ikee is never going to give you up" virus.
I got mad, made a backup in iTunes and then I upgraded my firmware to 3.1.2... Then after the upgrade I pressed wrong... I chose something like "new iPhone" and it made a new backup. The old one dissapeared... iTunes deleted it
But I downloaded a Harddrive recovery program and restored the backup...
Now I have a useless iPhone that's empty. Everything is gone. But I have the backup folder again. I have Windows 7. I can't extract anything, only Mac OS can -.-
Does anyone know how I can restore my iPhone with that backup folder? Or another fix?
Thank you in advance

Have you tried right clicking on the iPhone in the left side menu and clicking "restore from backup"? I don't knwo because I use OS X, not windows 7. I've never had problems with iTunes deleting my backups. I still have ones from the first time I synced, and I have set up as new iPod several times. I would offer to have you email me the folder and I would extract the files for you, but then you probably wouldn't feel comfortable with me having all of you iPhone's info.

Its not that bad. Will just take some time to get everything back.
Just sign into your apple id, and redownload all the apps. you can re-download it for free if you actually payed for it.
And then you can rejailbreak and get rock and redownload the jailbroken apps(or if you already had rock with a rock id, it will remember all the apps/addons you had, so it will be much easier to do it)
As for game progress and app settings you are back to square 1 D:OpenFient/Any other gametype: JBone1337

^what about his pictures, contacts, notes, settings. There is quite a bit of important data there that you can't go without.
