Horizontal Keyboard

Has anyone considered a horizontal keyboard for email and sms?
it would be a great app and it is already built into safari. i'm so new to this apple stuff i wouldn't know where to start.
anybody have a comment?

We considered a lot.
It would be a lot of work.
Probably better off waiting for Apple to update this.

It would be nice but it is very usable now.

MobileChat is somewhat able to do this, it just doesn't re-scale the chat window. it flips to the other keyboard though.

I asked for this about 5 months ago and i'd think someone would have figured this out by now.....guess not.

The closest thing ive gotten to doing this is using a free SMS client through safari and turning my iphone in landscape mode haah

who wants this anyway? Only iPhone noobs cant type on it. I dont really even use safari in horizontal mode because Its hard as hell to type on it correctly because the keys are too big. Once you learn to trust the autocorrect and the fact you only need to hit in the letters general area the large keyboard is pointless

For nearly 5 months, I had to use my iPhone for nearly everything when my PC died. I type so fast on portrait, people don't belive that I'm on a phone on IRC when using ColloQ lol. Get used to the keyboard, and pwn with it
