Question Clear Clock Background on Lockscreen without Winterboard?

    Hi,

I recently made a thread here about getting a clear slider background, but now I figured that out from another thread here. The last thing remaining that I want is the clear clock background on the lock screen. As you can see in the screenshot below the clock background messes up the "look," if you get what I mean. So does anybody have an other.artwork file that I can use? I have tried doing this myself but to no avail. Every time I tried to repackage the .png's it would give me an error and not work. I have tried Artworker and iPhoneShop 1.2.2 and 1.3.

    Thanks,

Last time I checked that's a Winterboard theme. Maybe I saw the wrong one though...

It's an UI image named UILCDBackground.png so you either need to use WinterBoard or edit the artwork file. I think the problem with iPhoneShop is that it's for 3.0. I couldn't get it to work on 3.1. I'm stuck using WinterBoard for 4 UI images

Yep, I think that must be the problem also. I tried using Artworker which oddly enough can open the files but can't re-compress them. It gives me an error message.

Just a tid bit of info, if you edit UILCDBackground.png to push the clock down some, it will cover up the incall features when you are making a call. Like dialpad, speakerphone etc...

just my $0.02 since i've been using the hero clock and lock calendar, the calendar lays overtop of the clock and I was trying to figure out a way to seperate the two....
