Default [HOWTO] Use iPhone tethering with your Xbox 360
This is pretty easy actually. First off you will need MyWi to actually enable tethering on your iPhone. Start it up and choose usb mode. Plug the iPhone into your computer with Mywi running. chack to make sure it is working by browsing some sites.

After it is found working, plug an ethernet cord in to your computer and then plug the other end into your 360. Next go to control panel-Networks and Sharing-Manage Network connections. Select your Apple ethernet and shift click on your other ethernet connection (the actual ethernet that is running to your xbox) with both selected, right click and select bridge connections. Once thats done you should now be able to connect to xbox live

maybe you could do this if you have an older non wifi laptop hangin around and dont wanna spend 100 bucks on an adapter

ive played demigod on 3g before, no lag but pings higher. ive actually done this when using neighbors wifi and my laptop. you should have explained that they might need to set up a static network between the 360 and the comp. not sure if mywi will opt on that through dhcp but it may.

or use the default tethering, use ICS on windows to share out the connection via Ad-Hoc wireless or back through the ethernet network, setting dns resolution and your default gateway to the physical address of the computer, whether it be the wifi card or the 10/100 card. when doing any type of networking, static IPs always play ball better than DHCP. just my 2 cents

yeah i know a static ip would be better but most people are unsure how to do that so this way you wont need to setup a static ip. On a mac tho...thats a different story. A static ip is required in order for this to work.

Ok everyone! This video works. This is for windows but for a mac its the same thing.

I used PDANET this is how you do it.

Connect to PDANET and tether your laptop (i use a MACBOOK PRO) and i only could get this to work WIRELESSLY!

Open up your xbox NETWORK SETTINGS go to wireless, scan for networks. Find your current ADHOC network that you created on your MAC and connect to it. Then go back to your macbook pro and you have to enable INTERNET SHARING in your system preferences under SHARING.

Then just DISSCONNECT from your laptops ADHOC Network and connect to your xbox live account. I dont know why but if you dont disconnect from your laptop there is an IP conflict because its trying to use both IP addresses. Any questions hit me up with a Private message. Also this is the video that i found that helped me!

    Hope this helps!

OH YA! It works great!!! Little bit of lag but not bad!
