    I downloaded MyWi for my jailbroken iPhone 3g and I can not connect my ps3 to the wifi network that my phone creates. The ps3 allows for manual SSID input but I can not find this information. my laptop picks up the wifi with no problems and good signal. Please help....

    if you really wanna do it, i would tether it to a PC. then use ICS to share out the connection over ethernet. To do this both computers needs to have static addresses on their cards and need to be on the same subnet, with the host's (ps3) gateway and DNS server being your windows box. you can do it on a mac too. Ad-Hoc networks < Ethernet in my experience. I do it in school to get around their firewall so i can get on sites like this all day long in the labs. but im not sure that the connection is really something i would consider gamer-worthy...the ping is astronomically high
