Thread: spoof iphone model

    Default spoof iphone model
Since we got peer to peer on the iphone 2g now, I am wondering, is there a way to make an app think you have a 3g? The bluetooth works for things like finger foos and bluetooth fart, but on labrinth two it does not give me the option for bluetooth, only wifi, even though bluetooth works now.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Although this would be VERY useful I don't think its achievable with software.

As far as I know your iPhone type (iPhone1,2) Serial (xxxxxx) and IMEI are all burnt into the the phone.

Thanks for quick reply. Do you think that maybe the game looks at something else besides your model? Maybe drivers or something?

I've been wanting something like this because of the software that's 3.1 only...I'd be willing to bet it'd work fine on 3.0.1.

Dooood...thx. Going to check it out now!!

F'n beautiful man... working great. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I was able to download the apps I wanted, but they still wouldn't run under 3.0.1. BOOOOO...

But it was worth a shot.

Ya, same for me too. I only tried one app, but maybe some of them worked. I just ended up upgrading then rejailbreaking, and it worked fine.
