unlock volume limit without code or pin

If you lost, forgot or accidentally set the volume limit and don't have the 4 digit code to unlock the volume, try this:
1. SSH on to your iPhone or use an app like iFile to access the system files.
2. Browse to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/
3. Open the file com.apple.preferences.volume-limit.plist
4. Look for the four digit code here:

<key>volume-limit-pin</key>
<string>####</string>

Ha! I knew that I couldn't be the only one with that problem. A week of searching for that .plist did not go to waste . I am glad that it helped, two years later.

Thanks, this worked perfectly.
I wish you could do this with your passcode. At the moment, you have to delete keychains.db to remove your passcode, but this also removes every saved password on your whole ipod. For anyone who needs this, it is in /var/keychains/ on iOS4
