Selective Shuffle?

Maybe its just me, but has anyone else gone to listen to their ipod and had like 2 or 3 songs they wanted to listen to first and then just shuffle the rest? Wouldnt it be nice if there was an app or a hack that allowed you to select a few songs to listen to first then have it just shuffle the rest instead of having to pick the songs you want then shuffle? Is it just me? lol Is this something that can be done or prolly not?

put the few songs you want on the top of the playlist, press play without shuffle, then shake the iphone/itouch when you want it to shuffle?
