winscp login error?

Hello, i used blackrain to jb 3.12 os on my 3g iphone. I cant get in to edit files/folders with either winscp or iphone suite 3.0 (via usb cable of course) anymore. i get a "software caused to abort" error,i cant connect at all.When i used 2.21 os i had no problems, did apple change something or should i use anotheer jailbreak method? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated........thnx,gmo

Do you have installed .. OpenSSH ? With Cydia ???

Yes,but the icon doesnt show on my sb......cydia says its installed and switched on with my sb toggle app.........thanks

if its any help, i can view some of my files on "iphone browser" v1.9.3, but it asks if ive jailbroken properly when i try to use the "goto location" dropdown shortcut........i know this sounds kinda weird. but ive ssh'd 2.21 without any probs(made clear icons,removed unwanted apps).what im really looking to do is plist editing.....i might have to try another pc maybe???........thnx in advance, uber noob (;

OpenSSH isnt on the Sprinboard. It runs in the background.

Your Sure you type the correct ip adress ? unsername? and password?

i ended up trying different programs after i read that apple did something to block secure shell access http://http://modmyi.com/forums/memb...9-working.htmli read some fixes were out there after i started using "iphone explorer"this proggy seems pretty good at "rootin" around for my level.but thank you for the help anyway,srry it took me a while to get back to ya.........thnx,gmo

iTunes 8.0 up disables SSH using winSCP iphonebrowser works fine.
