Selecting multiple contacts

So my buddy and I were thinking, when we mass text people, we would like after selecting a contact, for the message to go back to the contact list instead of the message. Is there any way to do that.

I was thinking, there has to be some coding that says, "if contact selected, then go to message." What if we found that coding and rewrote it to "if contact selected, then go to contacts"

At that point, when you are done with selecting contacts, you could hit "cancel" in the top corner.

Any ideas on how to do this or where the coding might be located?
