As the title says, I'm looking to make my iPhone 3GS "look" like it's running 3.1 when in all actuality it's running 3.0. I want to do this due to the fact that some of the newer apps require 3.1 to run and since there isn't a jailbreak for the 3GS yet, I don't want to upgrade my firmware.
I'm not even 100% sure this would fix the problem, but I figured it's worth a shot. I remember doing this for something on my original iPhone a couple years ago but I can't remember how it was done.
Any help would be great, thanks...

There was an app in Cydia called 'FWChanger' that did exactly that.
Idk if it still works or not.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something
