You need to have a little more patience, but commenting like that prolly wont get results.

I dont have a 3g with that FW version....and likely alot of other views didnt either. Nor am I sitting in front of my Mac with a usb cable and able to SSH into the phone ATM.....

So dont think cause there are a fews views, nobody wants to help.

I believe that all the English.lproj files are the same, in fact I'm 99% sure, so why not pull one from another app and see what happens. Can't hurt.

I have a 2G 3.01 and have the files at home. If you want to try them I can attach them. Better than nothing I suppose and if it doesn't work your going to have to restore anyway. Which I dont think a backup will hurt your restore so you shouldn't loose too much but time...
