winscp and ssh. help!

ok so i have winscp and i have openssh and i can connect my ipod touch to my laptop just perfectly but what im wondering is there or can someone make a tutorial on how to actually use winscp. for ex. how can i tranfer pics music ect. on to my ipod without using itunes but using the winscp/ssh programs? like what folders do i go into to find all my music and pics and stuff. i know how to find my apps just nothing else. please help

It reformats your music when loading it into the iphone. So you need to use itunes.

ok so what about like pics and stuff or can i not do any of that with it?

you can place pics into the stock wallpaper thing when you go into settings i found those files and actualy did it so if that's good then i can find them again and tell you i'm sure you can also put it in the photos app i have taken a photo from there through ssh before

your photos app stores photos in /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE

i found music in /var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music but they are all in folders and named differnetly so i guess that's what cpjr was talking about

and then all i did to add it to the wallpaper part in settings is i went to /var/stash/Wallpaper.xxxxxx and then put my image in there and called it the next number up so mine was 119.png

i found where my pics are stored but when i copied a pic from my computer into that specific folder, then went into my itouch and looked in photos it wasnt there

Use this one fot Windows. It's a SSH program especialy fot the iPhone, i use it, and there are some bugs, but it works great!

i cant use that if its just for iphone cuz im using a 2g itouch
